FTP Live - FAQ

Q:  What is FTP?
A:  FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol.  It is the primary method for handling of files on remote web servers.

Q:  What is the cost to use the service?
A:  The basic service is Free.  Premium service including secure SSL, no ads, and branded is available for a licensing fee.

Q:  Do I get free FTP space with this service?
A:  No, we do not offer free web space.  If you are interested in web space, see below.

Q:  How do I use the multiple file upload feature?
A:  Check the "multiple files" checkbox. Then supply an archive (tar/gz, tar/bz, or zip) containing the files you want to upload. The files will then be unpacked in the current directory.  Ensure there are no spaces in the archive file name.
